Anthology of Horror Stories, 2

Anthology of Horror Stories, 2

Our review

Anthology of Horror Stories 2, compiled by Rafael Llopis, is an essential continuation for fans of the genre. In this second installment, Llopis brings together a carefully curated selection of stories that explore the nuances of classic and contemporary horror, highlighting the evolution of fear in literature.

This book continues the journey to answer the question: how has the horror genre changed to the present day? Guided by Rafael Llopis, an expert in horror literature, we will be able to explore the history of the genre and better understand how we experience fear when reading. With authors of the caliber of Algernon Blackwood, Arthur Machen and other masters, the anthology follows the same quality criteria as its predecessor.

(We recommend reading Anthology of Horror Stories 1 first).

About the Editor

Rafael Llopis (Madrid, 1933-2022) was a psychiatrist by profession, but he never abandoned his passion for horror literature. We owe him the first introduction of The Cthulhu Mythos in Spain in 1969. He left us valuable definitions of horror, as well as essays and editions with his own translations, becoming a key figure in understanding the genre in our country.
