Here There Be Monsters

Here There Be Monsters

Our review

A book to savor slowly, as it has many details and you can get lost in the intricacies of the story. It's like a spider web that ensnares you; you must navigate its labyrinth and discover the secrets that lead you to the end. We liked the magical touch, which somewhat lessens the cruelty of the events.

If you like horror and magic, Aquí hay monstruos is a great option. We warn you that it is a raw, unfiltered story, which can be tough for sensitive people. It is one of Francisco Santos' longest and most intense books, but as always, very well written and addictive.

It includes metafiction and psychological games. A perfect compendium for a different kind of book, a "Franky."

Synopsis

Francis returns to Melilla to confront his childhood demons. When he was a child, some of his classmates disappeared, and he experienced an event he would remember forever. The demon lurks in an abandoned house. Only the children realized it and had to do something to stop it, even if their lives were in danger.

About the Author

Francisco Santos Muñoz Rico (1979) is a poet and writer of novels and stories of all kinds of genres, although he loves horror. His personality is addictive, as is his writing. He is the smartest and most widely read self-published author we have met. He reminds us of cases like Montero Glez. We await the birth of this literary beast in national publishing houses, but in the meantime, you can find some of his books in our bookstore. (Note: This author is sure he will live at least 200 years).
