Synopsis
In the heart of the forest, Bambi, a small fawn, has just been born. Surrounded by his mother's love and the curiosity of the other animals, the fawn will gradually discover the immense beauty of nature, but also its most terrifying dangers.
As he grows, Bambi will learn the harsh laws of the forest, the importance of survival, the arrival of the harsh winter, and the constant threat of "He" (the human).
About the authors
Felix Salten (1869-1945) was an Austrian writer and critic. Although he wrote novels, essays, and plays, he went down in universal literary history as the creator of Bambi, a Life in the Woods (1923), an enduring classic that captivated generations.
Benjamin Lacombe (1982) is one of the most recognized French illustrators worldwide. His style, which mixes pop surrealism with a gothic, dark, and terribly beautiful touch, has brought classics like Alice in Wonderland, Macabre Tales, and Carmen to life. His books are true collector's items.
