Red Beauty

Red Beauty

Our review

This book is very enjoyable to read; it's pleasant to read the paragraphs that place us in Santiago de Compostela, surrounded by art and a family that loves painting. The whole experience makes us enjoy feelings of calm, unease, and anger. The despair is enlivened by the lives of inspectors Santi Abad and Ana Barroso and their torrid and somewhat toxic love.

This detective novel captivates from the first pages. With family chaos and the loss of a child due to jealousy or mental illness, Arantza Portabales introduces us to a world of bloody art surrounded by envy and pain.

Prepare a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and enjoy a novel that will take you through Galician high society, jealousy, love, art, and police investigation.
