Blackwater III: The House

Blackwater III: The House

Our review

This third book follows the dynamic of the previous ones: the story narrates the intricacies of the Caskey family and time passes. It includes some touches of fantasy as some of the creatures hidden in one of the rooms of Elinor's house, and which come from the river, come to life.

The Blackwater series comprises six suspense books with elements of fantasy and horror. Its compact size, perfect to carry anywhere, invites you to immerse yourself in a plot where the characters share a town marked by a hidden enigma. If you are attracted to novels in the style of Ken Follett, where the characters and the development of the town over time are very important, you will probably like it.

💡 DROJANIAN TIP: We consider them great books as an interlude between more intense works. If you are going through a reader's block or want to take a break from more intense titles, they are a good opportunity to relax. Don't worry about what's going to happen in the end! (in that case, you might be disappointed). You can read the saga perfectly in 6 months, with patience and enjoyment.
