Blackwater IV: The War

Blackwater IV: The War

Our review

This fourth book gives us a glimpse into what happens in the river and provides an important clue about the strange creatures inhabiting Perdido. The author remains true to the previous books, with a very similar narrative dynamic, focusing mainly on the family and the passage of time.

The Blackwater saga consists of six suspense novels with elements of horror. Its format mimics old serialized novels, perfect for taking anywhere. We recommend it if you enjoy the immersive narratives of Stephen King and the character complexity of Ken Follett.

💡 DROJANIAN TIP: We consider these books to be excellent interludes between more intense works. If you're experiencing a reader's block or want a break from more demanding titles, they offer a good opportunity to relax. Don't worry about what will happen in the end! (You might be disappointed if you do). You can easily read the saga in 6 months, with patience and enjoyment.
