Carrie (16+)

Carrie (16+)

Our review

Carrie was one of the first novels by Stephen King that we read. We were so impressed that we kept looking for more of his titles. Although he has many interesting books, this novel has something genuine about it. Being one of his first, it is fresher, you can tell he's experimenting and doesn't have established quirks.

It is one of the author's best-known works and one of his first horror novels, which revolutionized the literary world. A short and intense story that narrates the tragic situation of a teenager bullied by her peers and repressed by an ultra-religious mother.

If you don't know the author or are too lazy to read all of his work (which is extensive), this novel can be a good starting point: something short, intense, and fascinating, which talks about telepathy and has a lot of blood.
