Our review

Do you like illustrated books and are you a Dracula lover? This is the best opportunity you'll have to get one of the most beautiful editions ever made of the classic vampire literature.

If the story is still terrifying today, it is even more so seeing the impressive illustrations by Tomás Hijo (the horror illustrator par excellence in Spain).

This classic work envelops you in a gothic atmosphere full of suspense and terror. It is an unforgettable journey from the Carpathians to the heart of London, where Stoker explores the attraction to the forbidden, the charm of evil, and the strength of unity against an ancient threat.

About the illustrations: This edition features the unmistakable art of Tomás Hijo, winner of the Tolkien Society's Best Artwork Award and a regular collaborator with Guillermo del Toro. His engraving-style illustrations give the novel the perfect gothic and dark atmosphere.

Synopsis

Jonathan Harker, a young lawyer, travels to the remote Carpathians to close a real estate deal with a mysterious nobleman: Count Dracula. He soon discovers that he is a prisoner in the castle and that the count is not human, but a monstrous being with a dark plan to spread his curse to London and find new victims. A small group led by the eccentric Professor Van Helsing will be humanity's only hope to stop him in an epic hunt that goes from the coasts of England to the heart of Transylvania.

About the Authors

  • Bram Stoker (Dublin, 1847 - London, 1912) was an Irish writer. Although he worked as a civil servant and theater critic, his passion for the horror stories his mother told him led him to write. At the age of 50, he published Dracula (1897), his most famous work, which forever defined the modern image of the vampire and left an indelible mark on universal culture.

  • Tomás Hijo (Salamanca, 1974) is an acclaimed Spanish illustrator, designer, and writer. He has worked on more than 70 books and has collaborated with figures such as Guillermo del Toro and John Howe. His style, which mixes traditional techniques with a dark and detailed atmosphere, is perfect for bringing horror classics to life.
