Auggie Wren's Christmas Story (Illustrated)

Auggie Wren's Christmas Story (Illustrated)

Our Review

Not many readers are familiar with this Christmas story by Paul Auster, an author more widely read for his novels. However, his signature style is present in every word: everyday life, chance, and reflection. It is true that it is very short, but every time we read it, we glean a new idea.

If you prefer to bypass the sentimentality of traditional stories, this book is for you. It's only a few pages long, but you'll have the opportunity to read a Christmas story that will make you think. The illustrated edition and the half-cloth binding make it a very special book.

It's a great way to tell a story as a family on Christmas Day, without resorting to the classics we all know by heart.
