A perfect book for young fantasy lovers who want to discover the wonderful craft of bookbinding through fiction. In our opinion, the first part is the most interesting, as it delves into this figure and the mystery. The second part develops the main plot, adding desire and love.
Would you bury your memories in a book? That's the proposition made by The Bookbinder, a novel of fantasy, mystery, history, and love. It's an enjoyable story that evokes a dying craft. We recommend it if you like to flow with the pages, if you love light fantasy with restrained action and a touch of romance.
If you let yourself go, you'll enjoy it a lot, but don't expect an intense thriller with a fireworks ending.

Synopsis
Emmett is a boy who works in the fields, whose life takes a turn. An old, lonely woman says he has the soul of a bookbinder and, after suffering an unknown illness, his parents send him to her as an apprentice. He doesn't want to be a bookbinder or be with that woman, but something slowly begins to change within him.
About the Author
Bridget Collins (England, 1981) studied Philology and Interpretation. She worked as an actress but discovered that her true satisfaction was writing. She started with young adult novels, although her great success came with her first adult book, The Bookbinder, which was translated into more than ten languages. Currently, she leans towards fantasy genre stories.

Lllevo ya varios pedidos de libros en la web de esta libreria, y todos han llegado en perfecto estado, libros muy cuidados y envueltos, y si los quereis para hacer un regalo se lo podeis decir y llega todo a un mas bonito todavia y asi la persona del regalo quedara super encantada, lo recomiendo muchisimo.
Todo llegó en perfectas condiciones y a su tiempo. Son muy cuidadosos con el empaquetado y tienen sus detalles (me gustaron los dijes de llaves que llevaban en el envoltorio).

Una librería que se leen todo su catálogo, que recomiendan, crean packs, cuidan el packaging al detalle... es más que una librería. La humildad, simpatía y el buen hacer de sus dueños hacen que destaquen por encima de otras. Si compráis, además de llevaros buenos libros, en la caja, seguro que os encontráis con alguna que otra sorpresa y todo el cariño y esfuerzo con el que trabajan. No os arrepentiréis.

El detallito del pack del club de lectura fue una pasada. Nos gustó muchísimo. A mi mujer y a mi nos gusta mucho comprar en Librería Casa Drojan porque cuidan mucho a los lectores. Siempre que tenemos alguna consulta, nos la resuelven al instante. Cuando hemos tenido dudas de si comprar una edición u otra (de un mismo título), siempre nos hacen un análisis de las caracteristicas de cada edición... Me ha encantado el empaquetado y cuidado con el que han enviado el libro. Desafortunadamente no lo he podido leer porque era un regalo para un amigo, pero cuando él lo vio le encantó.
Una profesión estigmatizada, libros prohibidos y una historia de amor.
El encuadernador nos cuenta una historia original e interesante. Personalmente hubiera preferido que se centrara más en los encuadernadores y en los libros que en el romance, pero aún así he disfrutado la lectura.
