About the Author
Joël Dicker (Geneva, 1985) grew up surrounded by books, as his mother was a librarian and his father a professor. Although he studied law, he never abandoned his true passion, which was writing. International success came when he published "The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair" in 2012, a novel that was translated into over 30 languages and established him as a bestselling author in the detective genre.
