There are books that are not meant to be read passively, but to engage in a conversation. Hitos del sentido is the best example. Escohotado, as usual, doesn't give you answers; he teaches you how to ask the right questions on a journey to the very origin of our ideas. We chose it because it is a true gymnasium for the mind; a work that leaves you more lucid and free than you were before opening it. It's a demanding book, yes, but the intellectual reward is immense.

About the Author
Antonio Escohotado (1941-2021) was one of the most unique and erudite thinkers of recent Spanish history, an unclassifiable figure who dedicated his life to philosophy with absolute intellectual independence. Considered a true "sniper" of thought, he always swam against the current of ideological fads, staunchly defending individual freedom. His legacy includes works of overwhelming rigor that challenged the prejudices and official discourse of his time.
