The Fall of the House of Usher & The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar (Illustrated)

Our review

These two stories seem ideal for starting to read Poe. In them, his entire essence is appreciated: a psychological and disturbing terror that makes you think about the human psyche. Sometimes, the most terrifying thing about his stories is the atmosphere, with dark descriptions, as if a bad energy were pursuing his protagonists. We are fascinated by how much he can move the reader in such short stories.

And in this new edition illustrated by Ismael Pinteño, it is achieved even more. It includes two of the author's most famous gothic horror stories: "The Fall of the House of Usher" and "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar."

It is a unique opportunity to read it for the first time or, if you are already a fan of his writing, to have an edition worthy of framing in your library. The final effect achieved by the illustrations is chilling. We loved it!
