The dark room

The dark room

Our review

An original book that makes you reflect on lies, freedom, and the future. Don't be fooled by the unbridled sex, because it is a novel that talks about a generation swindled by unfulfilled promises. The darkness at the beginning serves as transgression, but later, as catharsis.

The story tells us about the decadence and economic crisis of the early 2000s from a different perspective. A room, a group of friends, and darkness. Anything goes. But years pass and nothing is the same anymore. It is a story that never goes out of style, because the feelings narrated here are cyclical, like economic crises.

(Sex scenes appear in a good part of the book).

Synopsis

Some friends decide to cover the windows and the door of a room until not a glimmer of light passes through. The goal is to feel free, to do whatever they want. They practice sex and all kinds of games. It's an experience they will always remember. But life goes on, the economic crisis looms, and almost no one enters anymore, or those who do are afraid. It is the transformation of a generation. A literary game of metaphors.
