The Mousetrap (ages 14+)

The Mousetrap (ages 14+)

Our review

Agatha Christie's stories are always unexpected. When we pick up one of her books, we always think it will be very easy to find the killer, but once again, the author plays with us however she wants and we end up looking foolish. We loved that it's a play, something that is being lost.

Delve into the secret-filled atmosphere of "The Mousetrap," the most performed play in history (Guinness World Records). A remote guesthouse, a snowstorm that isolates the place, and a group of characters who soon discover that a killer is hiding among them. With her masterful skill for suspense, Christie weaves a plot where every character has a hidden past.

Get ready to doubt everyone. Will you be able to solve it before the grand finale?

Synopsis

A heavy snowstorm isolates Monkswell Manor, a recently opened guesthouse. At the same time, a murder in London brings the tenants and owners of the mansion together under increasing suspicion: there is a killer among them. As the police investigate and the darkest secrets of each character come to light, tension rises and the mystery deepens. No one is safe and everyone is a suspect.
