The translator

The translator

Our review

An original and very well-written book that you won't be able to put down. It's a very well-narrated story, with well-developed characters and full of intrigue. For us, it was a discovery. We find it to be a very fresh writing style that offers something more than the classic history books usually written.

Imagine you are a translator and you are called by the Francoist government to go on the train with General Franco to Hendaye, where he will meet with Hitler. That is the premise of this story of suspense, love, adventure, espionage, and even forbidden books.

An ideal book if you like historical novels and thrillers. It's worth reading.
