Synopsis

In a world ravaged by a deadly virus, a group of women survives in the "Sisterhood House," a convent-fortress ruled with an iron fist by a charismatic leader. In this theocratic refuge, society is rigidly divided: the "chosen," who live in the light and serve the Brother, and the "unworthy," women who have fallen from grace and are punished and forced to atone for their sins in the shadows.

The novel follows a young woman trapped in this brutal system, where torture and punishment are daily rituals and reading is forbidden. It is a story about submission, the power of faith to destroy, and the spark of rebellion that ignites in the darkest of places.
