Cursed Rome (Julius Caesar 2)

Cursed Rome (Julius Caesar 2)

Our Review

Santiago Posteguillo once again demonstrates why he is one of the great historical novelists. His ability to combine factual accuracy with narrative tension is astonishing: his books are devoured despite their length.

Maldita Roma (Cursed Rome), the second installment in the saga dedicated to Julius Caesar, shows the protagonist in his prime, deploying his military and political genius as he faces the dangers and temptations of power. Rome grants no quarter, and Posteguillo portrays this with force and passion.

Book Details

Synopsis

The story picks up where Roma soy yo (I am Rome) left off: Julius Caesar, exiled with Labienus, prepares to defy the Senate and make his way into Roman public life. Along his path, he will cross paths with legendary figures such as Spartacus and Cleopatra, in a plot that combines action, strategy, and the boundless ambition of a man destined to change the world.

Order of the Saga

Although each novel can be enjoyed separately, it is recommended to read them in order to follow the complete evolution of Julius Caesar:

  1. Roma soy yo

  2. Maldita Roma

  3. Los tres mundos (upcoming publication)

The saga will consist of six volumes, so Rome still has many stories to tell.
