Our review

We think this is a perfect book to get to know the author. It features literature that is fresher and more original than what we are used to from her, with a sinister touch characteristic of her work and significant historical embellishment. It transports you to very different worlds, so you never get bored: you can go to the Ottoman Empire, 18th-century France, or the memory of the COVID-19 lockdown.

This compilation of 15 stories about all kinds of female vampires and nocturnal women includes narratives as current as the coronavirus, combined with her masterful command of history. You'll find witches, vampires, monsters, and devils, as well as fantasy and a touch of dark humor.

It's a book where you can laugh, be scared, or even cry. A must-read if you already know the author, or a book to start adoring her.

Synopsis

This is an anthology of stories centered around vampirism, starring strong and charismatic nocturnal women.
