Dilatando Mentes

To be devoured

To be devoured

Our review

We can't say it's a book for all readers, because we'd be lying. We consider it suitable for fans of gore horror and blood. Although the truth is that it has a poetic and psychological touch that makes it much more enjoyable to read.

To Be Devoured is a horror novel as small as it is intense. A girl's obsession with carrion and vultures is enough to hook you. But yes, there's blood, lots of blood. It's a raw and unfiltered story, a finalist for the prestigious Bram Stoker Award and winner of the Ladies of Horror Fiction Award.

A must-have for any self-respecting dark reader. If we can give you our advice: get it before it goes out of print, as it's the only book by this author available in Spain and it's well worth it.

Synopsis

Have you ever wondered what dead meat tastes like? Well, Andi, the protagonist of this novel, has. And she's willing to find out. It's a novel suitable only for horror lovers, but in addition to the blood, there's also a deeply psychological story. Not much can be said about this work without spoiling it, as it's barely 112 pages long. Dilatando Mentes' careful edition includes a final extra where cannibalism is discussed.
