The Handmaid's Tale

The Handmaid's Tale

Our review

It's a shame we read this book after watching the famous HBO series, as you anticipate what's going to happen. Even so, it's a must-have for your home. The book is written in the first person, which enhances the protagonist's experiences and makes you privy to her thoughts.

The Handmaid's Tale is one of the most acclaimed modern dystopias, by the well-known writer Margaret Atwood. It has won awards and has been adapted into film, television series, theater, and even opera, becoming a classic for science fiction lovers.

Don't be fooled by the adaptations! The book is narrated in a different and unexpected way. If you've been lucky enough not to have encountered this work yet, you have an advantage by enjoying the reading first.
