Elegy for an American

Elegy for an American

Our review

Elegy for an American is a complex story. For those accustomed to reading this author, it will be like a walk through Siri's mind. If not, patience is the best virtue, because secrets do not come out all at once; you have to chip away at them little by little.

Everyone has a past, a time that, perhaps, they don't want their family to know about. What can be expected of Lars, a man who had to live through World War II? His children, Inga and Erik, discover thoughts and points of view of their father that they were completely unaware of. We don't know if we should talk about a second personality, but we can say that everyone has things to hide.

A perfect novel to discover it.
