The Neverending Story (45th Anniversary, Illustrated Edition) (Ages 10+)

Our review

Reading this book is like feeling like a child again, but doing so in this special 45th-anniversary edition is rediscovering the magic just as Michael Ende imagined it.

This is the definitive and illustrated edition every fan was waiting for. What makes this Alfaguara gem unique is that it respects the original design to the millimeter: it is printed in two inks (red and green) to differentiate the human world from the Kingdom of Fantastica, it includes the beautiful illustrated drop caps from A to Z, and it comes in a spectacular hardcover binding.

It's a long novel, perfect for escaping reality for days among giants, dragons, and the Ivory Tower. We highly recommend this story for children (ages 10-12 and up) or teenagers, especially if they feel lonely and want to connect with Bastian.

Ideal for reading under the covers or as a gift for an 80s nostalgic. An essential classic of youth fantasy literature that, in this deluxe edition, should not be missing from any library.
