Cursed Rome (Julius Caesar 2)

Cursed Rome (Julius Caesar 2)

Our Review

Santiago Posteguillo is a true artist writing historical novels. He perfectly combines historical accuracy with the suspense of a novel. You can't stop reading, even though they are long novels. It doesn't matter, it ends up turning into a short book.

Damned Rome is the second book in the saga about the famous Julius Caesar. In this second part, Caesar has grown and develops his full potential both as a military man and in politics. We see how the giant slowly grows, not without difficulties. Rome is tough, Rome is demanding. Damned Rome!

The book continues to include military tactics and political conflicts, among other confrontations, including romantic ones.

Book Details

Synopsis

The novel picks up where the first left off: with Julius Caesar in exile with his friend Labienus. Julius wants to learn oratory to be able to face the Senate, which he wants to join no matter what, although he knows the price will be high. Well-known historical figures such as Spartacus and Cleopatra also appear in the novel, converging at different moments with Caesar's life.

Saga Order

Can the books be read independently? You could, but we don't recommend it. Since it's a saga about the life of Julius Caesar, it makes more sense to follow the chronological order.

  1. Rome Is Me

  2. Damned Rome

  3. The Three Worlds

The author's idea is to write six novels in total. So we still have a lot of Rome to look forward to!
