Forgotten, the gods

Forgotten, the gods

Our review

Untameable. This is how Francisco Santos Muñoz Rico is and how he presents himself in this collection of poems. It's like looking through a window to the Afterlife and seeing him sitting there: thinking and writing. Everything interests him, any subject can be worthy of poetry for him.

What we liked most about this book is precisely that it opens the door to his world. It includes a wide variety of different themes, always championing the sonnet (which no one writes anymore) and putting his passionate personality at the service of readers.

In addition to being a critical poet, he is tremendously curious. That is why he is one of the most intelligent people we know. But not one of those who wear suits and sit in an armchair in an important academic institution. No. One who devours books and drinks beer. A philosopher who is interested in everything and satisfied by nothing.

Synopsis

Forgotten, the gods is a collection of poems that explores many diverse themes, such as terror, love for literature, and the streets. It does so with sonnets and flexible rhymes.

As a reader, it invites you on a journey that oscillates between oblivion and the strength of the human voice.

About the author

Francisco Santos Muñoz Rico (1979) is a poet and writer of novels and stories of all kinds of genres, although he loves horror. His personality is addictive, as is his writing. He is the most intelligent and well-read author we have ever met. He reminds us of cases like Montero Glez. We await the birth of this literary beast in national publishing houses, but in the meantime, you can find some of his books in our bookstore. (Note: This author is sure he will live at least 200 years).
